Senior Account Manager – Production Management Group, Columbia, MD or Remote

PMG, a production management firm headquartered in Columbia MD, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Manager to work with our nonprofit clients and their creative agencies on direct mail fundraising programs. At PMG, you’ll get to work with top national and regional nonprofit brands dedicated to saving lives, protecting the environment, finding cures and more.

The position involves working directly with client and supplier partners as well as internal data and postal logistics teammates. Job qualifications include at least 10 years of direct mail production experience with the ability to manage complex programs, take the lead on all aspects of direct mail production, and strengthen and enhance our relationships with our clients. Account Managers are the first line of support to both client and supplier partners. They are expected to have full ownership of their programs under the direction of a Team Leader, including developing proposals and program budgets, maintaining efficient workflows and achieving consistently accurate billing. The Account Manager is responsible for communicating client volume and revenue adjustments to their Team Leader. The Account Manager should have a working knowledge of our suppliers and their capabilities and show an eagerness to expand their knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of direct mail production experience, with proven ability to manage complex, multi-faceted programs.

• Strong competitive pricing knowledge and established supplier relationships.

• Experience sourcing and managing the production of premiums and non-letter rate mail.

• Excellent client service skills with a personable and professional demeanor.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable leading client meetings via Zoom/Teams.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills; intermediate proficiency in Adobe Acrobat.

• Experience managing or mentoring a team is a plus.

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.

• Enthusiastic about representing the company at industry events and building external relationships.

Education and Experience:

Minimum 10 years

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

PMG is an Employee-Owned Company of highly motivated and committed people who pursue operational excellence and provide exceptional service to our clients every day. This full-time exempt position offers a typical salary range of $75,000-$90,000. The final salary will be determined by a variety of factors including experience, geography, education, proficiency with the required software tools. The full compensation package includes flexibility around core workday hours, and a benefits package including health, dental, vision and 401k, profit sharing and ESOP retirement plans along with professional development opportunities. Candidates must be located in one of the following states (DC, MD, VA, PA).
