Are you an experienced data analyst and marketer who wants to use their expertise to drive real-world change? This critical role is part of our fundraising team, where strategy, analytics, and mission come together to power progressive causes.

You will partner with senior leadership to design smart, scalable fundraising programs, test bold ideas, and turn data into decisions that grow revenue and enhance donor relationships.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead statistical reporting and database management, ensuring accurate campaign performance tracking, and clean, reliable data is maintained across all campaigns.
  • Design and evaluate testing strategies, delivering clear, actionable insights that improve fundraising performance.
  • Develop and execute segmentation and list strategies, including acquisition planning, merge/purge oversight, and package test structures.
  • Analyze multi-channel campaign performance (mail, digital, phone), translating complex data into strategic recommendations and optimization plans.
  • Partner with clients, vendors, and internal teams as the primary data liaison, aligning execution with strategy and resolving complex data challenges.
  • Support campaign planning and forecasting, including goal setting, preparing annual income and expense projections, and contributing insights in client-facing strategy meetings.


Skills and Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in direct response fundraising, digital marketing, or database marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with large datasets, testing ideas, and measuring results.
  • Expertise with Microsoft analysis products including SQL, Excel, and Access. SPSS and Tableau experience is a plus.
  • Experience with file segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
  • Familiarity with data vendors, list management, and marketing operations.
  • A collaborative, problem-solving approach.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $65,000–$100,000 annually, based on experience.

Location

We are currently working remotely with no return to office date.  We maintain our corporate headquarters in Washington, DC.
