Job Summary:

The Associate Account Director is a key client relationship manager and focuses on the development of client program strategy, research, and the creation and implementation of acquisition campaigns to drive new donor growth for our nonprofit clients.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the key contact responsible for building strong relationships and trust with clients and agency partners.
  • Develops detailed integrated media plans with forecasted KPI’s based on budgeted volume, responder, and revenue goals.
  • Produces and monitors client performance reports, identifying trends and recommending program optimization opportunities.
  • Interprets both qualitative and quantitative research to solve client challenges.
  • Investigates new media test opportunities and strategies.
  • Drives price negotiations with key media partners.
  • Oversees and approves final campaign volumes, package assignments, and model applications to lead data processing partners.
  • Plans and participates in client meetings.
  • Develops quarterly and annual performance review presentations to clients.
  • Leads discussions with cooperative database partners to review performance and data needs for future model development.
  • Helps develop client budgets and monitor performance to budget.
  • Understands broader products and services within Moore.
  • Contributes to thought leadership whitepapers, blog posts, and presentations.
  • Collaborates with AD to develop media, timing, creative, and other strategic opportunities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities: 

Experience is essential, but just as vital is a willingness to learn and having a passion for the work.

  • Advanced knowledge of direct marketing performance metrics required.
  • A strong understanding of predictive modeling and analytics is required.
  • Understands merge instructions, strategy, and data processing.
  • Ability to manage day-to-day program execution for multiple clients.
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, and highly organized.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Enjoy working in a team-focused environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Office software.

Education and Experience:

  • At least 5 years of agency or client direct marketing fundraising experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Compensation: 85k – 95k
