Thursday, January 11, 2024 (5:00 PM - 7:30 PM) (EST)

Description

Are you short on time?

Are you seeking a fast edge to get ahead in 2024? If so, then Next in Direct is for you!

Brand new for 2024, Next in Direct is a unique event which combines DMAW's Annual Meeting activities with forward-looking speakers to help you get ahead of important trends for the New Year.

The evening will mark DMAW's official transition into 2024 business as DMAW Board President Jade Nguyen Swanson passes the gavel to the 2024 incoming president, Dan Sonners. That ceremony will be followed by "Ted Talk" style presentations from three distinguished speakers who will help ensure your program gets off in running in 2024.

First up, Elyse Wallnutt, Founder & Principal of Agility Consulting, will share tips for breaking down that pesky direct mail and digital divide and advice for bringing your teams together around shared goals

Then we'll welcome Kevin Gentry, Vice President of Stand Together, who will share practical tips and actionable advice that will help nonprofits of all sizes GO BIG with your Fundraising in 2024.

Samantha Justice Kelley, ACC, CPCC, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, from Nonprofit HR will talk about Avoiding Professional Burnout and will be the final speaker of the night.

The evening will conclude with a reception where you'll have a chance to connect with your DMAW community and meet this year's board over drinks and hors d'oeuvres.

DMAW's Next in Direct is the perfect way for fundraisers and nonprofit leaders to start the year off right. We hope you'll join us January 11. Attending DMAW programs in 2024 is one resolution you'll want to keep.
