About The Venue
A classic film stands the test of time, the same is true for a historic movie theatre. Constructed during cinema’s boom period, The Arlington Cinema & Drafthouse showed its first film in 1940. The theatre’s Art Deco design takes you back to Hollywood’s Golden Age, while reminding us about the silver screen’s unique ability to capture our imagination.
Cinema has been transformed by technology but the art of making a great film remains grounded in timeless principles – much like direct response fundraising.
The Arlington Cinema & Drafthouse’s ability to showcase its unique history while consistently innovating has helped it stand the test of time as a pillar of the community.
It’s a kinship shared with direct mail and donor acquisition professionals. While the tools of our trade are constantly changing, our ability to blend technology with timeless techniques is what ensures direct response will remain a critical component of fundraising for decades to come.
Is There Anything Else I Should Know About Attending List Bazaar?
Many of our attendees have relationships which measure in decades making List Bazaar a true community which is as collaborative as it is welcoming to newcomers. The list industry is one where competitors are uniquely reliant on each other to succeed. That foundation has built a culture where List Bazaar attendees embrace shared learning experiences, candid discussions, and meeting new professionals who share their passion for fundraising.
