Individual Giving Manager

We are seeking an Individual Giving Manager to help raise critical funds from new and existing donors through a multi-channel fundraising approach with a main focus on direct mail. This role requires a self-motivated individual adept at managing people and processes to enhance current plans, nurture donor growth, and retain our annual donor community. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Individual and Planned Giving, the role is to develop and implement donor acquisition, upgrade, and retention strategies.


Responsibilities include overseeing offline giving programs, managing donor touchpoints, collaborating with external vendors, and ensuring timely project implementation. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects in a dynamic environment. The Individual Giving Manager will liaise with the Brand & Communications team to develop donor communication materials, aligning with Conservation International’s mission and brand.


Key tasks involve strategic planning, project management, budgeting, data analysis, and cross-channel support. This includes managing direct mail campaigns, analyzing program effectiveness, ensuring data integrity, and supporting planned giving initiatives. The role also involves moderating meetings to refine cross-channel strategies. Additionally, the manager may provide support for donor communications via phone and email and collaborate on ad hoc projects within the Development Division.
